AIEEE Admission Counselling Online Now

 

The AIEEE results are now out and students are ready to get admission in their preferred institutions. But the Central Counselling Board (CCB) that will oversee the admissions to 20 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), five Indian Institutes ofInformation Technology (IIITs) and 11 Central and State funded universities and 19 self-financed institutes based on AIEEE ranks has changed its admission procedure from this year 2009.

Now the CCB has decided to conduct AIEEE counseling online for the convenience of the students and their parents. According to this procedure, candidates can easily choice branches and institutes online using Internet. The CCB, along with NIC, New Delhi, has developed software for this procedure.

Certificate verification

All the successful candidates, who are allotted seats, have to report to any one of the designated admission centres. Remember, candidates who fail to report at the admission centres will not be considered for further rounds of counselling.

During the remote reporting, every candidate has to produce all the education certificates in original like admit card, score card, proof of date of birth, proof of passing qualifying examination, caste certificate, income certificate, medical certificate and state of eligibility certificate.

An initial fee of Rs. 25,000 has to be paid by the candidate and a provisional admission letter will be issued to the candidate. After taking the provisional admission all candidates have to report to their institutes from July 16 to 24.
