NIT MCA CET shortly known as NIMCET is an entrance examination into MCA course for eligible students which is conducted by NIT. Qualified students with valid score will be offered admissions in NIT’s that are located across India. The NIT’s where eligible students can get their admissions in MCA through NIMCET are: Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal

Eligibility for NIMCET 2015
Candidates will be eligible to write NIMCET 2015 only and only if they can fulfill the following criteria:
• Applicants need to complete their graduation or higher equivalent examination from one of the recognized universities or educational boards of India.
• Candidates are required to pass their 10+2+3 with at least 60% marks if belonging to OC or OBC while in the case of SC/ ST/ PD it is 55% of aggregate marks.
• If candidates are appearing for final year or semester of the examination then they are also eligible to apply, but incase they can produce a pass certificate by the time of the admission process. If they fail to show it, then their admission is cancelled.
• Candidate who has completed or pursuing presently the graduation courses in these disciplines B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities are also eligible to apply only their discipline is approved by UGC/AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.
Age Limit for NIMCET 2015
Candidates can apply for NIMCET only if they complete 21 years, but should not cross 25 years of age.
Registration Fees in NIMCET 2015
All the candidates who are from General or OBC need to pay an amount of 1800/- towards NIMCET application fee. But if the applicants are from SC or ST or PD, then they required to make a payment of 900/- as application fee. The payment has to be made at State Bank Collect only and once the fees have been paid it is required to send the print out of e-receipt to NIT Agartala office.
Process of Applying for NIMCET 2015
Candidates need to follow below process to apply for NIMCET:
• Applicants need to first visit the official website nimcet.nitw.ac.in or www.nita.ac.in
• Then register in the site with the basic details required to fill the form.
• Login credentials will be obtained after some time to email as well as mobile.
• Then pay the required application fee and take printout of e-receipt.
• Now fill the application form correctly without making any mistakes.
• Upload all the required documents in the links provided for them.
• Then take the printout of the form after submission .
• Now send the hard copies of application form printout, all the necessary documents in speed or registered post to “Secretary, NIMCET-2015, National Institute of Technology, Agartala P.O.: Former Tripura Engineering College Barjala, Jirania, Tripura-799046″ within stipulated time.
Syllabus in NIMCET 2015
Candidates have to prepare the topics of Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English. All the questions will be in multiple choice format. Time duration of the examination is 2 hours with total number of questions being 120.

Important Dates in NIMCET 2015
Following are the important dates in NIMCET 2015:
• Online will be available in the month of February 2015.
• Last date to receive the forms is in the month of April 2015.
• Examination will be conducted in the month of May 2015.
